Stay Zam – I sogni non si sgomberano – Comunicato Stampa

2 palestre, 3 palcoscenici, 2 sale concerto, 2 bar, 2 uffici, 1 redazione, decine di attività sportive per centinaia di persone, 160 m2 di pareti da arrampicata, oltre 200 concerti, oltre 100 appuntamenti culturali, 1 festival di cinema e documentari, 1 laboratorio teatrale, 1 laboratorio hip hop, migliaia di persone dentro e attraverso, oltre 2 anni di occupazione e autogestione.

Questo è stato Zam dal 29 Gennaio 2011, e questo continuerà ad essere, grazie all’impegno e all’entusiasmo di centinaia di persone che ogni giorno portano qui dentro il proprio desiderio di cambiare le cose. La minaccia di sgombero è arrivata forte e chiara: la proprietà si avvia alle solite bieche operazioni di speculazione immobiliare, la Questura esegue gli ordini, il Comune tace, altrimenti dovrebbe parlare della propria incapacità di mettere in piedi una politica sugli spazi e sulle autogestioni tanto sbandierata in campagna elettorale quanto disattesa nei fatti.

Il colpevole silenzio di Sindaco e consiglio comunale è costato alla città nei primi due anni di mandato più sgomberi di quelli fatti dalla giunta Moratti: sono già 6.

Noi siamo qui: il collettivo politico, la Rete Studenti Milano, la Polisportiva Popolare con la palestra, le arti marziali e gli sport da combattimento, la danza, lo yoga, l’arrampicata; il Laboratorio hip hop, il teatro per tutti, Zam Film Festival; sono tutti progetti che hanno casa a Zam e che trovate qui, in via Olgiati 12, a Milano, quartiere Barona. Da due anni nella crisi e contro la crisi, da due anni autogestione e cultura, da due anni in azione nella metropoli. Da oggi, 4 aprile, ogni giorno, dalle 17 in poi siamo aperti: passate a trovarci, chiedete, partecipate. Per il giorno dello sgombero diamo già da ora appuntamento a tutti davanti a Palazzo Marino, alle 18.

Nessuno sgombero ci fa paura, Zam è un sogno tatuato sulla pelle viva della città: potete provare a nasconderlo sotto il maquillage della città vetrina della mafia e dello scempio dell’Expo, ma la traccia è indelebile e non si cancella: qui siamo e qui restiamo! Stay Zam
